MISOGI Talks is a groundbreaking speaker platform created by TEDx speaker and bestselling author Jody B. Miller, inspired by her globally viewed TEDx talk and her bestselling book The MISOGI Method.

In the TEDx talk, Jody revealed how the ancient Japanese ritual of MISOGI—a deep, uncomfortable challenge meant to purify and transform—can be adapted into a modern tool for radical personal growth.

Since then, she’s helped thousands discover the power of a personal MISOGI moment through her book, keynotes, and her popular podcast, The MISOGI Method, where she interviews people who took on massive life challenges—and emerged forever changed.

Each month, just 10 speakers are chosen to share a story of a true MISOGI—a defining moment that cracked open a new way of thinking, living, or leading. These stories are filmed by you after we train you, and are then brought to life on a visually immersive DreamStage, and shared globally across our growing platform.

We’re looking for speakers who:

• Have taken a bold, life-altering leap outside their comfort zone

• Faced something raw, real, and transformative—and grew from it

• Want to share the truth behind their shift to inspire others

• May or may not have ever been on a stage—but have a story that needs to be told

You could be:

• An entrepreneur who risked it all

• A parent who fought for their child

• An athlete who shattered limits

• A survivor, leader, rebel, or creator

• Or someone who did the one thing that scared you—and it changed everything

The Process

Step 1: Apply

• Tell us your MISOGI Moment in 300 words or less

• Upload a simple 2–3 minute video sharing why this story matters

Step 2: Review & Selection

• Applications reviewed monthly

• Only 10 speakers are selected per month

• Finalists notified by the 10th

Step 3: If Selected

• Speaker investment (includes one on one coaching, MISOGI talk development, production, editing, posting on MISOGI Talks website, use on your website and social media, and distribution globally)

• Work 1:1 with our MISOGI Talks story coach

• Record your talk from home

• Watch it come alive on the MISOGI DreamStage

• Be featured globally, and considered for our annual live MISOGI Honors Event in Phoenix, AZ.
